Joseph Dirnfeld of Audax Investments built his career as a trader and investor for brokerage firms, hedge funds and investment banks on Wall Street for over 20 years prior to becoming an Independent Investment Advisor in 1998.
Mr. Dirnfeld’s investment approach focuses on investing in sustainable businesses that generate high returns on capital and high free cash flow earnings. He employs a proprietary stock screening system that evaluates the quality and valuation of a business, as well as the business’ sustainability. His customers typically have their brokerage accounts at Fidelity Investment where he is granted a limited power of attorney to manage their investments for a yearly management fee.
Joseph Dirnfeld holds a B.S. from Columbia University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
